For instance, God knew there was possibility that most of what will be revealed to John on the Island of  Patmos, which will be communicated later to various churches, could escape his memory and fizzle out. Similarly, ideas that eventually led to the discoveries made by legendary inventors like Archimedes, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Galileo Galilee and so on were quickly documented in books, magazines, journals for reference purpose. Hence, it was easy to replicate and build upon their work after their deaths. Whenever an idea comes to your mind as it will always do, write it down one after the other including the date and time of the day.
When you have ideas written, rewritten, visualized, you trigger your conscious, subconscious and super conscious minds into generating a conscious flow of ideas for goal attainment.
